                     MEDIATRIX PERIPHERALS INC. INTRODUCES
                       DSP/VOICE PROCESSOR DAUGHTERBOARD
                             FOR THE AUDIOTRIX PRO

Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada (August 15, 1995)-Mediatrix Peripherals, Inc.
announced today the availability of the DSP/Voice Processor daughterboard
for the award winning Audiotrix Pro multimedia sound board. With the
addition of the DSP/Voice Processor daughterboard, the Audiotrix Pro
allows users to add real-time digital effects to voice, music and CD
audio.

The Audiotrix Pro sound board has been praised throughout the industry
for its excellent sound quality, compatibility and unmatched expansion
capabilities which now include:

        - DSP/Effects Processor daughterboard,
        - RAM/512KB daughterboard,
        - Multi CD-ROM daughterboard and
        - DSP/Voice Processor daughterboard.

The DSP/Voice Processor enables the Audiotrix Pro to add real-time digital
effects to the microphone (voice), the music (MIDI) as well as CD audio.
These effects include the patented SRS ()r 3-D Surround Sound as well
as reverb, flange, chorus, delay, pitch shifting and a 3-band graphic
equalizer.

SRS ()r 3-D Surround Sound is used under license from SRS Labs, Inc.
and Mediatrix is the first sound board manufacturer to offer SRS in
DSP format. All effects can be added independently on the sound source
in real-time as the output is being played from the computer.

"The Audiotrix Pro with a DSP/Voice daughterboard gives the user
complete control over the audio output from the computer," says
John Moran, President of Mediatrix Peripherals, Inc. "Whether
composing music, authoring audio files, giving multimedia
presentations, singing karaoke or just playing a game of 'Full
Throttle', the user can now add SRS ()r 3-D Surround Sound or
various other effects to enhance the audio output from the computer."

The effects can be added in a Windows or DOS operating environment
and can be put on both wavetable and FM music when used to enhance
the audio track of a game. The user interface permits full control
over each effect with a choice of factory presets or an unlimited
number of user defined presets which can be added on a song by song
basis.

"The user now becomes a creator when modifying the audio output from
the computer," continues John Moran. "That is the exciting part of
interacting with the computer - the user actually becomes an integral
part of the creative process. With the Audiotrix Pro and the
DSP/Voice Processor daughterboard, this creative process is easy and
also a lot of fun."
